Pray for the Palestinians

Assalamualaikum warahmatullah wabarakatuh.

When an Israeli soldier (we are not talking about a civilian yet) is killed, it's an international concern and the killer and those who are related to the killer must be killed. The news of the Israeli victim will be published world-wide, including the family and even friends. Every human on the Earth should mourn for the victim, the family, the friends and the rest of Israelis in the land of Palestine. The news is more dramatic if it's a civilian especially if the killer is doing suicide bombing.

When dozens of Palestinians were murdered (in whatever the way - from bombing, shooting to torturing), it's just a piece of news in the Middle-East column with the number of deaths, not even know the name of the victims. The name will come up if the victims are truly a Hamas militant (to prove that the Israelis are killing the right person) or a little baby, after the international community questions the justification of the killing (which is rarely happen). You gets only number like in Iraq, no names except for the foreign soldiers who bravely fought for democracy and perished (!).

Peace can only be established if there is justice, this is the central teaching of Islam. Justice doesn't mean equality but it means what a person gets is what the person deserves. Anything more or less will be a form of injustice. Less means that the person is under exploitation or worse oppression. More means that someone else is under exploitation or oppression. This is easy to be seen in the pillar of Zakah in Islam. If you have excessive wealth, share it with the poors; if you choose to be misery, know that you are holding the rights of others which ALLAH gave to you to look after for just a temporal period of time in this World. The Prophet Muhammad (saw) near his death said that "I don't worry about shirk among you but I worry about the wealth that you possess."

If Rice is really talking about Peace in the Middle-East, she must first establish justice. She is not a judge, so do Olmert and Abbas, Clinton and Bush. How can there be peace? You are feeding the Israelis with military supplies but not even a drip of clean water to the thirsty little Palestinian girl? Tell me about justice. The UK is still a little better than you, at least the UK is trying to tackle the humanitarian crisis there. Read this.
